Twentieth Century Fox Television, Inc. is the television production division of the 20th Century Fox movie studio, a subsidiary of News Corporation. Since 1986, Twentieth Century Fox Television has produced the bulk of series airing on the Fox network, including The Simpsons, Desire and Fashion House. The Simpsons became longest running animated series and site comedy in the records of U.S. television.

Continuing the fray, Fox Network Television rated another milestone by airing ‘America’s Most Wanted’ that made the big leap when the show secured a grand entry in top 50 shows of the week in the all important Nielson ratings.

For boosting the popularity and covering more segments Fox started to broadcast some soap operas aimed at the younger audience such as ‘Beverly Hills 90210′ and ‘Melrose Place’ followed by ‘The X-Files’. These programs tagged the network in Top 25 ranking in the Nielson rating schedule.
