Hi, I’m Demetri and welcome to Media Metropolis.  The purpose of this blog/community is to share enthusiasm and passion about exciting entertainment topics.  My mission is to entertain people and provide a welcome distraction from the every day “rat race” that can be tough on all.  Help me position this community as the top entertainment destination on the Web.  Keep me informed with what you believe is most useful and relevant to you.  We will grow together.  This community can achieve this goal and propel it to new entertainment heights.  This accomplishment can only materialize with the right combination of topics and dedicated community members. 
 
I started Media Metropolis in 2008, but have been involved in various Web-based projects for several years.  My experience and passion with entertainment started when I was quite young, including several acting and modeling jobs.  Eventually I learned that behind the camera can be just as rewarding. 
 
I’ve worked in marketing for the Detroit Pistons and Palace Sports & Entertainment.  Part of my responsibility included partnering with media, such as national and local TV, print/online and radio outlets, for events.  This included marketing surrounding elite concerts such as N’Sync, Janet Jackson and Lenny Kravitz.  I belong to a strong network of entertainment professionals, most of whom work in the film/TV/modeling industries in L.A., New York City and Chicago.
