Dharma’s Karma Is Shifting On Lost
Of all the TV Shows available to watch on the abc chanel I always make sure to tune in to the Lost Series every Wednesday @ 9/8c. Since 2004 it has been an addictive program to watch that just keeps becoming more intriguing as it proceeds in its syndication. This popular TV show involves mystery and the supernatural. Its ubiquity makes it cutting edge to discover just how all the pieces will fit together with every new episode. Television programs have been unable to compete with its unique and tantalizing simple and sci-fi-esque flavor. A plane crashed in 2004 in the South Pacific. The survivors forged onward and discovered many strange things and people. Scary smoke monsters and wild polar bears inhabited the island as well as people called “The Others” and bunkers from a group called the “Dharma Initiative.”
For One hundred and eight days the survivors of a plane crash inhabited a deserted island between Sydney Australia and L.A. Then, one of them turned a wheel as well as their destinies upside down and inside out. Locke along with all but six people (Sawyer, Jack, Hurley, Kate, Juliet and Jin) remained in current time. The six others somehow ended up in the year 1977 to see that their companions disappeared along with the island. They were rescued and brought back to the U.S. but then took a plane back out to find the island again. The plane crashed and they found the isle full of Hostiles. Sawyer became head of security for the Dharma Initiative and changed his name to LaFleur. He snuck Hurley, Jack and Kate into the Dharma compound while Jin ran off to find Sun. It’s been three years since Sawyer a.k.a. LaFleur, Juliet, Miles and Jin have been working for the Dharma Initiative. The people left in current time are extremely confused.
Ben snuck off to find boats to get to the other island. Sun follows along with Lapidus. They knock out Ben and take a boat to the other isle and run into a man named Christian who they find out is Jack’s Dad. He shows them what happened to the six others in a photo from the Dharma Recruits in 1977. Meanwhile, Jin is off in 1977 looking for Sun. He runs into Sayid while searching for Hostiles. Sayid gets thrown into their jail where he runs into a boy who says his name is Ben Linus. It’s becoming more aggressive as everyone in the 70s who has come from the future is seemingly looking out only for themselves. The relationship of survivor vs. survivor is growing increasingly acute and violent in some circumstances. The Lost TV program is exquisitely detailed and crafted and remains one of the most popular running shows in current history.
We Would Be Lost Without Lost
Every Wednesday evening at 9/8c the saga of Lost persists. Four full seasons have aired, with the fifth currently in progress. The show has gained in popularity as well as success. It began in 2004 when a commercial airplane wrecked upon a seemingly uninhabited island somewhere in the South Pacific en route from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, California. Their crash into oblivion left many dead and the survivors were forced to follow their own strengths and follies. They found out that the island they were deserted on held many secrets. Regardless of what obstacles they face, this group of friends, family, strangers and enemies keep working together to tackle the harsh terrain as well as the cruel climate to stay alive.
Danger and mysterious things lurk around every turn, whether it’s a physical thing or a mental one. Their secrets haunt them just as much as survival mode presses them forward in their determinations. There are heroes and there are zeroes in their mess and they all struggle to figure out what is happening and why they are there. The show stars Matthew Fox as Jack, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Evangeline Lilly (Kate), Jorge Garcia (Hurley), Terry O’Quinn (Locke), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), Naveen Andrews (Sayid),Emilie De Ravin (Claire), Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond), Yunjin Kim (Sun), Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), Michael Emerson (Ben), and Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet). On their seventy days plus on the island, they’ve encountered a strange smoke monster, several polar bears, odd people along the way including a group of residents better known as “The Others.” They also found signs of other people who were stranded on the island in the past. An ancient statue, a 19th century sailing ship named The Black Rock and bunkers belonging to a rogue group of scientific researchers called the Dharma Initiative were found by the group that unfortunately crash landed.
As in real life, their lives interweave in patterns as they separate to achieve goals and find each other again. They’ve lasted in the tropics throughout thick and thin to shine, receiving acclamations from numerous industry awards including the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series and Best American Import at the British Academy Television Awards in 2005, and the Golden Globe for Best Drama in 2006 as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series. In 2010, a sixth set will be the final year Lost will be produced. This exciting and refreshing show just keeps getting better. I can’t wait to find out what happens next and how the show is going to carry forward since Kate and Sawyer have hooked up, Sun’s baby is on the way and what will become of Charlie and Claire? Just as it began, it will be phenomenal to see how it will end.
Are You A Lost Fan?
No. I don’t really mean are you a lost fan. Although that would be funny. Instead, I am talking about the show Lost! This show has become one of the most unexpectedly popular shows ever. Seriously. And it’s not another Gilligan’s Island either. This is a good, well thought out show, with amazing character plots, good actors (who doesn’t love Matthew Fox) and a good storyline. Gilligan’s Island could have been over in two episodes. But Lost? This could go on for years to come. They just keep coming up with new things that happen. Alright, here is the back story of the show - after Oceanic Air Flight 815 tears apart in mid-air and crashes on a Pacific island on September 22nd 2004, its survivors are forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. But they discover that the island holds many secrets, including a mysterious smoke monster, polar bears, housing with electricity and hot & cold running water, a group of island residents known as “The Others,” and a mysterious man named Jacob.
Okay, so it’s not for everyone. But if you do like these types of shows or you have seen Lost - you know how addicting it can become! Right now, Lost is in its fifth season! It seems like just the other day I started watching this show — oh wait it was! See, I wasn’t originally interested in this show. But I just happen to catch an episode yesterday and I have to say, I actually liked it! So this is going to be another one that I’ll have to get more into and watch a couple more episodes before I make a definitive decision as if I really like it or not. I hope not. I have too many other shows I watch! Anyway, if you like action, adventure, mystery and a tad of romance - Lost is just the show for you! Check it out Wednesday nights at 9pm Eastern/Pacific and 8pm Central!!!
Oh and by the way, if you have never seen this show and if you don’t know if you will like it or not - you could always watch a few videos online. I was on a website the other day a television blog of sorts. They had ALL the newer shows and the older popular shows available and all kinds of information, episode guides, channel guides, video previews, character guides, etc. So this should be something you are checking out if you want to know more about Lost, or any other show out there. They are really helpful!
If You Like TV, Then You’ll Love This!
When it comes to TV “viewers”, well over 1 billion people around the world watch TV every single day! In fact, according to a report done by Nielsen ratings the US is one of the highest locations of people that watch TV and next to that is Japan! This is why it makes total sense when you look on TV and there are so many different shows in different categories about different things. There has to be in order to make everyone happy! It doesn’t matter if you like comedy and watch shows like 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother or The Office or you like Drama and your addicted to shows like Lost, Prison Break and 24, there is going to be something very fun and exciting you should be looking for when it comes to spending time online.
Recently I found some really nice sites online that are all about television shows and I wouldn’t doubt it if they even had some of your favorites! They have things like preview videos, out takes, TV show descriptions, and TV show schedules. One of my favorite things about sites such as these is the fact that they are so diverse, its crazy! Not only will you find all of your favorite shows, but you can also find shows that you haven’t ever seen before but always wanted to know a little bit more about. For example, I haven’t ever watched 30 Rock, not because I dint want to but because its on the same time as one of my shows. But I hear that it is absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately when it comes to repeats, they just aren’t available yet.
So the next best thing? Websites like this! I can find video reels, a synopsis for the show and even character biographies! So, even though I have never watched the show before, I know all about the show and honestly I wish it was on when one of my other shows wasn’t on. Well hey, at least I can look forward to the summer time when all the televised repeats come on! Then I can finally be in the “loop” when it comes to all my friends - they all are 30 Rock freaks not Grissom (CSI) or Ziva (David from NCIS) freaks! If you want to check up on your shows for scheduled viewings, new preview videos or information about some of your favorite celebrities from the show or if you want to check out something different altogether, these sites are definitely your best bet for information, entertainment and pure fun!

Lost: My Overview
Lost, without any second thought, was considered as one of the biggest hit drama series aired on ABC. Conceived to offer a high quality entertainment throughput by JJ Abrams and Damon Linderof, Lost is again going to punch the TV screens on every Wednesday night at 9:00 PM Eastern/Pacific and 8:00 PM Central, beginning January 21, 2009. Of course, now the audience will witness a sensational hour that offers in bulk, the show’s awesome and puzzling mysteries and their answers. It was supposed to be the most promising series for the season and a must-see TV show on ABC. With a thrilling background and filmed in Hawaii, it stored a snooping depiction about a group of lively airplane passengers who met with a plane crash. Lost became the amazing trail about those feeble commuters on a tropical island and their survival journey among the intense shriek of the baffling creatures stalking the island.

Lost portrayed a number of vibrant characters with vivid mindsets that made the story revolve around. Those stunning characters include an ethereal-looking female bank robber; a former Iraqi soldier; a resentful African-American child with telekinetic abilities and a paraplegic who stuck in a time warp of destiny. Numerous tremendous situations had given a chance to explore the characters where everyone concealing some hush-hush or ordeal, drug addiction, armed robbery and assassin motives.
In its every season, Lost has accumulated the crushing audience retort with its tense emotional wandering in which secrets were revealed, questions were answered and new mysteries were knocked for more puzzles.
So it’s a worthy watch to keep eye on a group of 48 survivors, marooned on an island after a disastrous plane hurtle.
2009 TV Lineup ABC: A Wholesome Package of Entertainment
ABC, promoting itself as the destination for television dramas, is telecasting John Safran’s globe-trotting adventure “Race Relations”, The Chaser’s “War on Everything” and Andrew Denton’s “Project Next”. After spending 2008 out of the television spotlight, The Chaser has returned back to ABC TV with a story that is scripted for just 10 episodes with the tagline “George W. Bush waged a war on terror, but only The Chaser has had the vision and courage to wage a War on Everything.” Incidentally, in Race Relations, John Safran tries to get emos to fight in Iraq, and tests the claims of therapists who claim that they can cure people of racism. And Denton is busy in finding a bunch of original thinkers, mischief-makers and cage rattlers and enticing them into a room to create an irreverent program about serious things through Project Next.
ABC announces the 2009 TV lineup of programs that provide intense entertainment with the taste of originality and creativity. With a modest effort to pull in more younger, urban viewers; ABC TV has decided to host some series of Australia’s most veteran talents - John Safran, The Chaser and Andrew Denton.
At midseason, ABC will telecast “The Goode Family”, an animated series from Mike Judge, and a reality show from Ashton Kutcher and model Tyra Banks. It will also press ahead with development plans for more new shows that could be brought out midseason, when the network will bring back its hit “Lost.”
There are also second seasons of Bed of Roses, East of Everything and The Librarians plus a host of new dramas like Drugs, Death and Betrayal by veteran journalists John Silvester and Andrew Rule, The Cut, Dirt Game, Prison Sings, and natural history programs. Â
